Brain Working Recursive Therapy®

‘BWRT®’ stands for ‘BrainWorking Recursive Therapy®’, a modern model of psychology and psychotherapy created by UK professional therapist, Terence Watts, MCGI. It uses a totally logical, practical and down-to-earth working method in which it’s not necessary for you to talk about anything you would rather not discuss – the practitioner only needs to know how you feel and how you would prefer to feel instead. BWRT® is unlike any other therapy you might have heard of or read about, using the latest discoveries in neuroscience coupled with your own unique brain processes to help you get better. Only Certified Practitioners have been trained to deliver BWRT® and all have to adhere to a strict ethical code.

  • It's based on the latest discoveries in neuro-science about how the brain receives and stores information

  • You don't need to tell the practitioner anything you don't want to talk about - no need to share your secrets

  • As long as you know how you would prefer to feel instead of how you feel already, the practitioner can help you

  • Most problems are resolved very quickly, often in a single session and even complicated problems like alcoholism can be resolved in 4 -5 sessions

  • It's able to deal effectively with a wide range of issues, from simple anxiety or phobias all the way up to problems like eating disorders, alcoholism, drug abuse, gambling, pornography addiction and more

  • All BWRT Therapists ('Practitioner' and 'Therapist' means the same thing) have to undergo a full assessment of their skills

  • It's logical and doesn't use trance states, tapping, touching, stroking, gazing, 'energy paths' meridians or anything else unscientific

I am  a fully qualified Level 2 Advanced Practitioner and a founder member of BBRS (The British Brainworking Research Society).  To date the results for this relatively new methodology has proven extremely successful.  In many cases it is, usually, a fast therapy which can often leave my clients quite stunned with the dramatic changes that have occurred following B.W.R.T interventions.  Unlike hypnotherapy, the client is fully conscious and engaged in the process with the practitioner.  This can be helpful for those who feel a tad uncomfortable with the idea of Hypnosis.

Having additional methodologies to help my clients towards the changes they seek has been key in the overall success of my practice and I continue to update my skills, knowledge and methods regularly so you can be sure you are receiving the most up date help I can offer.

B.W.R.T. can help with an array of issues such as:-

  • Fears of heights, spiders, public speaking

  • Phobias

  • Self Esteem Issues

  • Weight Issues

  • Addictions such as alcohol, cocaine and gambling

  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

  • Generalised Anxiety Disorder
